PALLETIZATION DEVICE
The present invention relates to a palletizing device.
Document FR-2 781 471 describes a layer-by-layer palletising device. As illustrated in Figure 1, this device comprises: - a first elevator 10 provided for moving vertically and downwardly a pallet during its filling, - a second elevator 12 provided for moving vertically and upward an empty pallet 14, - a first actuator 16 provided for translating an empty pallet 14 'of the second elevator 12 to the first elevator 10 and ensuring its maintenance during the removal of at least one layer 18 until the first elevator 10 supports said pallet 14' a false pallet 20 positioned above the first elevator 10 and the first actuator 16, configured to support bags during the formation of a layer and comprising two movable plates 20a and 20b, - a bag feeding system 22, - a second actuator 24 for gripping the bags from the bag feeding system 22 and depositing them in a given arrangement on the false pallet 20
In addition, the device comprises an evacuation conveyor 26 of the full pallets and a supply conveyor 28 in empty pallets.
The operating principle of this palletizing device is as follows. The second actuator 24 seizes the bags, one by one, at the level of the bag supply system 22 and deposits them in a given arrangement on the false pallet 20. When a layer is finalized, the two plates 20a and 20b are spaced apart so that the just formed layer is deposited on an empty pallet held by the first actuator 16 or on the last deposited layer 18 on the pallet. With the exception of the first layer or layers, the pallet is held by the first elevator 10 during its filling. The latter holds and moves it so that the last deposited layer 18 is positioned just below the false pallet 20. Therefore, as the layers are removed, the first elevator 10 goes down.
When filling a pallet, the first actuator 16 is shifted to the left. In a first step, the second elevator 12 is positioned at the same level as the supply conveyor 28 in empty pallets so that an empty pallet 14 is translated from said supply conveyor 28 to the second elevator 12. a second step, the second elevator 12 is translated upwardly so as to position the empty pallet 14 'at the same level as the first actuator 16, the height that an empty pallet must occupy to receive a first layer formed on the false pallet 20.
When a pallet is full, the first elevator 10 is positioned at the evacuation conveyor 26 and the full pallet is translated to said evacuation conveyor 26. At the same time, the first actuator 16 grasps the empty pallet 14 and the positioned in the false pallet 20. During this time, the second actuator 24 arranges a new layer on the false pallet 20 which is positioned as soon as it is finalized on the empty pallet 14 'held by the first actuator 16. As soon as the first layer is removed 18, the first actuator 16 vertically moves down the pallet so as to allow the removal of a new layer. Thus, the first actuator 16 maintains the pallet 14 'until the first elevator 10 rises and maintains the pallet 14'. The vertical stroke of the first actuator 16 is short and functions in particular the travel time of the first elevator 10.
According to a variant illustrated in Figure 1, the palletizing device comprises a frame 30 positioned above the false pallet 20 to form the layer of bags positioned on the false pallet 20. This frame 30 may comprise movable sides that s' away from and approach the layer formed on the false pallet 20 so as to improve the conformation of said layer. Even if it is efficient, the device of the prior art has a relatively large footprint and requires two actuators that outweigh the price of the device and make it more complex. According to another problem, in certain cases, it is difficult to center the pallet with respect to the layers of palletized products. The invention aims to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art. For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a device for palletizing products on supports such as pallets for example, which comprises: an elevator configured to support a support during its filling, said elevator being vertically movable; false pallet positioned above the elevator and which comprises at least one plate movable between a first position of forming a product layer on said false pallet and a second position of depositing said layer on the support or the last layer deposited on the support, - an actuator for positioning the products on the false pallet.
According to the invention, the palletizing device is characterized in that: the actuator comprises a system for gripping a support configured to deposit a support on the false pallet, and in that the palletizing device comprises a frame lower positioned below the false pallet to center the support or a layer of products relative to the products positioned on the false pallet.
According to the invention, the support is introduced from the top and deposited on the false pallet using the same actuator as the products. The lower frame makes it possible to center the support and thus to improve the centering of the deposited product layers with respect to the support.
According to other features: - the lower frame comprises at least one movable side between a close position and a position away from the support or layers of products positioned on the support. - The palletizing device comprises an upper frame positioned above the false pallet, the lower frame being positioned in line with the upper frame. the actuator comprises a head which comprises two L-shaped moving parts each comprising in the lower part a half-plate, and at least one actuator configured to move the moving parts between a first state in which the half-plates are joined to allow to carry at least one product and a second state in which the half-trays are spaced to allow to enter or deposit the product or products. - The head comprises at least one stop to immobilize in translation the product or products positioned on the half-trays when the head is inclined. - The palletizing device comprises a vibration unit and / or a wrapping unit positioned under the lower frame. Other features and advantages will become apparent from the following description of the invention, a description given by way of example only, with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a diagram of a palletizing device which illustrates FIG. 2 is a schematic view of a palletizing device which illustrates the invention; FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a palletizing device which illustrates an embodiment of the invention; FIG. 4 is a diagram of a depositing head which illustrates a variant of the invention; FIG. 5 is a diagram of the lower part of an elevator which illustrates another variant of the invention; FIGS. 6A-6C are diagrams that illustrate the centering of a pallet.
Figures 2 and 3, there is shown a palletizing device 40 adapted to store products on a support. For example, the products stored are bags and the carrier is a pallet. Although described applied to bags and pallets, the invention is in no way limited to these elements.
The palletizing device 40 comprises: - an elevator 42 configured to support a pallet 44 during its filling, said elevator 42 being movable vertically, - a false pallet 46 positioned above the elevator 42 and which comprises at least one plate 48 movable between a first product layer forming position in which the plate 48 is positioned above and in line with the elevator 42 and a second spaced position in which the plate 48 is no longer positioned to the plumb with the elevator 42 to allow the removal of the finalized layer on the pallet or the last layer of the pallet, - an actuator 50 for positioning the products according to a given arrangement on the false pallet 46, - a system of supply 52, - a pallet feeding system 54, and - a discharge system 56 full pallets.
According to one embodiment, the false pallet 46 comprises two movable plates 48, 48 'configured to occupy a first state in which the two plates 48, 48' are joined to allow the formation of a layer and a second state in which they are removed to allow removal of the finalized layer on the false pallet 46 on the pallet being formed or on the last layer deposited on said pallet.
According to a first embodiment, the elevator may be identical to that described in document FR-2 781 471.
According to another embodiment, the elevator comprises a frame with four vertical uprights 58 for guiding vertically movable cleats 60. For example, the tabs 60 are connected to chains stretched between two gears, one being positioned at the top of the frame and the other at the bottom.
According to another embodiment, the palletizing device comprises an elevator as described in the document FR-2 781 471 and tabs 60 which support each empty pallet, possibly during the deposition of the first layers, the time that the elevator evacuates. the pallet full and goes back up to support the new pallet being filled. In this case, the cleats 60 are movable vertically and horizontally to move away from the pallet during filling when the latter is supported by the elevator. The elevator 42, the false pallet 46, the product supply system 52 and the evacuation system 56 of the full pallets are not further described because they may be identical to those of the prior art.
According to one characteristic of the invention, the pallet feeding system 54 is positioned close to the actuator 50 so as to enable the actuator 50 to grip an empty pallet at the pallet feed system 54 and the pallet feed system. deposit on the false pallet 46. According to a characteristic of the invention, the product positioning actuator 50 comprises a head 62 fixed via a hinge 64 to the end of an arm 66. According to one embodiment, the articulation 64 and the arm 66 corresponds to a robotic arm with six axes. At least, the hinge 64 and the arm 66 correspond to a robotic arm with four axes.
Advantageously, the head 62 comprises two L-shaped movable portions 68, 68 'which each comprise in the lower part a half-plate 70, 70', and at least one actuator configured to move the moving parts 68, 68 'between a first state in which the half-plates 70, 70 'are joined to allow to bear at least one product and a second state in which the half-trays 70, 70' are spaced to allow to enter or deposit the product or products .
Preferably, the head 62 comprises at least one stop 72 for immobilizing in translation the product or products positioned on the half-plates 70, 70 '. According to one embodiment, the stop 72 is fixed to the upper face of one of the half-trays. According to this configuration, it is possible to deposit the bags in an inclined position to better control the recovery of the bags. Alternatively, the bags can be laid with a horizontal head.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the head 62 comprises at least one gripping system 74 of a pallet, for grasping it at the empty pallet feeding system 54 and transporting it to the false pallet 46. Preferably, the gripping system 74 operates by suction. According to one embodiment, the gripping system 74 comprises two suction plates 76, 76 ', each disposed under one of the half-plates 70, 70'. The use of the gripping system 74 is not limited to the movement of the pallets. It can be used to move products, dividers or any other element.
Thus, according to the invention, the same actuator is used to move products and pallets.
Advantageously, the palletizing device comprises an upper frame 78 positioned above the false pallet 46. This upper frame 78 makes it possible to conform the layer of products placed on the false pallet 46. According to one embodiment, the upper frame 78 comprises at least one movable side which moves away from and approaches the layer formed on the false pallet 46 so as to improve the conformation of the layer. This upper frame is not more described because it may be identical to those of the prior art. According to the invention, this upper frame 78 is used to position the empty pallet which is deposited on the false pallet 46.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the palletizing device comprises a lower frame 80 positioned below the false pallet 46 as illustrated in FIG. 2 and in detail in FIGS. 6A to 6B.
The lower frame 80 has dimensions identical to the upper frame 78 positioned above the false pallet 46. The lower frame 80 is positioned vertically above the upper frame 78. Thus, an element, such as a layer, centered by the frame upper 78 is also centered with respect to another element, such as for example another layer or a pallet, itself centered by the lower frame 80.
Preferably, the lower frame 80 and the upper frame 78 are closely spaced. They are separated by a distance allowing the false pallet 46 to be put in place. Thus, when the pallet is taken up by the elevator 42, it is centered by the lower frame 80 and the layer placed on said pallet is centered by the frame. 78. Thus, during the formation of the entire pallet, all the layers just deposited are centered relative to the lower layers and relative to the pallet.
Advantageously, the lower frame 80 comprises at least one movable side which deviates and approaches the pallet or a layer so as to improve the centering of the pallet and the conformation and centering of the layers. Preferably, all sides of the lower frame 80 are movable.
Preferably, a wrapping unit is positioned under the lower frame 80 to bandulate the layers positioned on the pallet during filling of the pallet. According to another characteristic of the invention, the palletizing device comprises a vibration unit for subjecting the pallet to vibrations and thus tamping the layers placed on the pallet.
According to an embodiment visible in FIG. 5, the vibration unit comprises a movable structure 82 between a retracted position in which it is not in contact with the pallet (which corresponds to the pallet and the products stored on the pallet ) and an active position in which at least some elements of this movable structure 82 are in contact with the pallet.
Means 84 for generating vibrations such that at least one unbalance is secured to the movable structure 82. In addition, means for isolating the movable structure 82 as insulating pads 86 are provided to limit the propagation of vibrations.
Preferably, the movable structure 82 comprises a comb 88 with a plurality of fingers dimensioned so as to pass between the rollers 90 of the evacuation conveyor 56 of the full pallets. Thus, in the retracted position, the comb 88 is positioned below the upper generatrices of the rollers 90 whereas in the active position, the comb is at least partially positioned above the upper generatrices of the rollers 90.
